Hidden Bathroom Water & Mold Damage

Don't let water & mold damage sneak up on you.  These photos come from a tenant-occupied townhome where the tenant had been complaining of musty smells in their bathroom for months.  It wasn't until the tile on the shower wall started to deteriorate and fall off that they called us for an inspection and estimate.

A fair amount of demolition was required to remediate the water & mold damage.  The first step was to enclose the affected area with a containment chamber - this way none of the mold spores escape the containment to establish themselves in another part of the home. 

Once we finished, the repair contractor coming in had a clean, dry, and prepared space in which to begin the reconstruction.
